It all started with the pretty mare „Gletta frá Vindási” a chestnut born 1973. Kristín Lilja Nóadóttir, Gunnars mother was given it as a foal by her parents. Originating from Gletta are four outstanding broodmares:

Especially in recent years, we often have young studs borrowed from the Icelandic breeders Gunnar Arnason and Kristbjörg Eyvindsdóttir on Auđsholtshjáleigu for our mares and bred so successfully. This year, Gunnar and Kristbjörg were the second time awarded by the Icelandic Horse Breeders Association as the breeders of the year. The following stallions from their breeding have met with us.
