I bought it new in August 2002. It´s three tone sunburst with tortoise pickguard. It plays very well and is the construction is very good and solid! The tone of this thing is fabulous! It is in every way superior to my Washburn.
This bass has now replaced my Washburn as the main practice/gigging bass.
